Nowadays it’s hard to find anything of theirs consistently in stock and they are constantly releasing new products at ultra low volume only to never get it in stock beyond small bursts, then ignoring it and moving on to the next new low volume product and pretending it’s all part of the plan.I flashed with OpenWRT. I actually just used this same setup on vacation last week. I used a TP-Link WiFi Extender to connect to wifi, and plugged the lan from extender to my wan of a pfsense travel router. The provided wifi speed was only 50mb, and with the TPLink to pfsense, my speedtest consistently hit 44.This is a great entry level device for people looking to get practice in Unifi or who aren’t super technically savvy. The Unifi express can do 1Gb not sure why people keep saying it can’t. This is perfect for both my parents home. The user interface makes it super easy to mesh a second of third unit together. 10.This is the one I got for my purposes. Had 8 ports, POE for my AC-Lite, and most importantly 2 SFP+ ports which I needed for 10g uplink to my UDM Pro SE and to my 10g NIC on my server. The AP then sends broadcast frames using index number 2. This happens in a number of ways: It can happen from the first moment, when a station joins.Personally would prefer to hardwire cameras to avoid using up wifi airtime that dramatically reduces the performance of my AP's, but to each their own.
